Used colors, special markups and links in the CSS-guide

Because the purpose of the CSS-guide is to instruct make encoding, I use some special colors combined with some text types:

• Source code - this markup means ordinary source code or references to ordinary source code. I use this to express HTML, XHTML and XML tags and attributes and basic CSS-encoding, for example <A class="some"></A> and a:hover {color:...}. In most cases I use in the source code the element <CODE>.
• Scripts - this markup means using of some scripting languages (in my case JavaScript or PHP, for example function (){...}). I use in the source code the element <VAR>. I don't however use this markup for comments because they have an own markup.
• Comments - I express with this color all kinds of comments, which are used in source codes (<!-- + -->, /* + */ and //). I use in the source code the element <SAMP>.

In addition is some blocks are green background color, which symbolizes safe, recommendable way to use CSS. Read is the color of warning.

When I explain semantics of elements I mention previous mentioned usages and some other CSS-guide related matters. I those matters colors don't have so big importance. I just emphasize some matters with certain tags.

I have used for model the same or another window, which I have marked at the following way:

	Example models, which open to the same window.
	Especially if you have a relative small screen, I recommend to use pop-up windows (Pop-up windows > Pw). The open window is closed automatic if you click another pop-up window link or you go to another page - it doesn't work as a permanent browsing window! You can adjust the size of the window.
	A new window is like a "sibling window". You don't need to close it, because next time I use the same window. It might remain on the background, but you can get it to the top from the task bar of Windows 95/98 or in other platforms with another way. If you have a high resolution and large screen, you can adjust the width of windows so, that both documents are at the same time visible. I link also pages, which go outside of my own site to this window even if I don't use the sign.

It is worth to know that I have se for Opera 4.x+ browsers in the full screen mode special CSS. The full screen mode is not a normal but instead so-called presentation mode ("slide show mode"), which optimal usage needs special CSS for projection (this is a matter of the media type projection). I have designed the CSS-site noticing especially way that mode. It is worth to know about following matters:

• It is designed for the 800x600 screen resolution. The purpose is, that 1-12 numbered pages of the CSS site could work so, that the content of individual slides could fit to the canvas (screen). Note that these pages are not originally designed into the slide show mode. I create also some especial slide show pages (an example - a 16-colors screen capture image (1:2 - note, that I have changed the color theme after the screen capture)). In all cases in large monitors is much unused space.
• Instead of scrolling, use PageDown and PageUp keyboard buttons. If the content of a slide doesn't fit to the canvas, use the down arrow key to read the rest content.
• If you choose in the middle of some slide show a link, you can get back easily by using the keyboard button combination SHIFT + Z (SHIFT + X is forward - another of the keys is above the CTRL key).
• You can alternatively click in the in normal (right hand) mouse the right button and then choose Z. You don't have any toolbars available, where you have browsing arrows.
• In the version 5.10+ it is extremely easy to go back and forward in visited links with the mouse. Keep the another button down and go back of forward with the another button.
• Don't use links, which refer to the "sibling window (I hided most of them, because the usage of them doesn't fit to this presentation mode). You can however use pop-up windows.
• You should not zoom the screen (the zooming factor must have the value 100%).
• Don't interrupt the slide show before a slide has not downloaded properly because the browser might crash.
