Installation instructions
- Unzip the program executable Xana.exe file from downloaded archive file xana.zip into any directory. You can use WinZip software to extract files.
- Optionally, extract sample configurations from files below into the same directory.
- Alternatively to steps above, just run downloaded self-extracted xanapack.exe file, check the program destination folder and hit Unzip button.
- Optionally, create shortcut to Xana.exe. The program will work on mapped network drives as well, but sharing the configuration sets is not a good idea. See program Help|About... how to use the program parameter to load specific configuration on startup.
- To uninstall and remove the program completely from your machine, just delete these files.
Note: XANA Web Browser does not make or require any direct changes in Windows Registry or elsewhere. No installation or setup program to uninstall it required.

Before Downloading
Requirement: Before trying the program, make sure that you have Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above installed.
Warning: This program is RAM hungry and consumes a lot of
computer memory. Single instance of Microsoft Internet Explorer takes a few
megabytes of memory very much depending on browser's state and loaded document
type,
but much fewer when minimized. For reasonable
configuration containing about 20-30 browser components, XANA's memory
consumption may easily be around 20 - 40 MB. For this reason, recommended size
of computer RAM memory for the program to work smoothly should be at least 128 or, even better, 256 MB.
