| A Perfect or a Dark christmas ? |

It's not unusual that a Nintendo64 game is delayed, but if it's about Rare's Perfect Dark what should we do? Be happy when Rare is putting in the finishing touches, so that it could become even better than promised ? I guess we should be, we can't let Perfect Dark to be released unfinished, can we? But it's happening anyway, and it won't come out for christmas. Now the release date is around April 2000. Currently they are optimizing the Expansion Pak support. And what I've heard there's a reason to it, see, when IGN guys played it at E3, there was some problems with framerate in the first level of Perfect Dark. |

Even though this is N64 site only, I wondered would you be happy with some new info about Playstation2. It will support both CDs and DVDs, and it's downright compatible with Playstation. Sony says it will be out 4th of March in the year 2000 in Japan. It will weight about 2.1 kilos, good to know. The price will be about 370$. It will hit europe's shores during autumn 2000. Because this is an N64 site, I must defend Nintendo and say that Dolphin (or the next generation Nintendo console, as it's called nowadays) is estimated to cost about 100-200 US dollars (because it won't play DVD movies). Next Gen Nintendo console will have a processor with 400Mhz clock speed, and Sony has confirmed that Playstation2 has 300Mhz clock speed. Those PSX-fanatics swearing my name should know I only take confirmed info to my news (usually). |
