Suomalais-venäläinen pyöräretki Laatokan ympäri 2007

Se on tulossa taas, nimittäin suomalais-venäläinen pyöräretki, tällä kertaa Laatokan ympäri. Tässä vaiheessa tiedoksi.

Yesterday the group of Russian bicyclists met for planning the 2007 tour.
This year we are going around the biggest European lake - Lake Ladoga!
All of you and all your friedns are invited!
The total length of the route is 800 km. So we are going to do this in 2 weeks.
The initial plan is to start in Pietari on 30 June and finish on 14 or 15 July.
If you prefer to start on 1 July or start one week later, please let us know.
The draft schedule is attached.
The actual (bike) start is in the place where Neva, the biggest Baltic river, starts.
The finish is planned in the same place.
There is one 'bad' part of the route, where we have not found any ways but the highway,
between Lodeynoye Pole and Kolchanovo. To avoid going along the highway,
we have a variant of going this part of the route by a local train.
This year we have to know all the participants long before the trip, because a part
of the way goes through the area with a restricted access, and we will have to get
permissions for all participants in advance.
