| Hamed's
natural gravitation to speed is apparent from his endless list of pursuits including
motorcycle racing in the USA, karting in the Middle East, and on a more formal footing,
his graduation as top student of 1996 at the Jim Russell Race School in Donington, UK.
Since this time, Hamed has focused on rallying, and in a short space of time has emerged
as the Middle East's foremost driver, claiming the Gp N title in 1997. Finishing second in the Gp N category of the FIA World Rally Championship in 1999 showed his natural talent. He had experience of rallying stretches to little over a dozen events and he was able to challenge other drivers in any conditions throughout the season. In 2001 Hamed contested in the FIA Teams Cup category driving with the Allstars team Subaru and after that he has driven group N cars. |
